Mattia Calvi

Photographer

My name is Mattia and I find images to be the best means of communication. This awareness stems from my first approach to photography during adolescence. Starting as a self-taught, I graduated in 2024 in photography for cinema at the Luchino Visconti civic film school in Milan. Even before my university career, I took part in various sets and audiovisual projects, ranging from short films to video clips, from commercials to reportages. In 2025 I co-founded a film production collective, Tundra, with which I want to change the way cinema is made in Italy. My skills and my cinematographic gaze can be the tool for the artist who tries to tell his story in a true but also careful way, where no element is left to chance. The cinematographic aspect is certainly a fundamental and always present part of my work, but I also love to experiment with new techniques, more creative and artistic, sometimes manneristic, which are closer to the language of the visual. What will never be missing from a collaboration with me is the awareness of the nature of the project and the search for the best way to tell it with the greatest possible impact.

Ho una formazione professionale in grafica e video. A questo si affianca un corso post-diploma in marketing strategico per i brand, con un approccio centrato sull’analisi del posizionamento e sulla costruzione di una comunicazione efficace.
