During the darienstaxx era, the artist built a dedicated following through authentic underground music-making, amassing over 600 followers and releasing 54 tracks that showcased a raw, experimental approach to sound design and production, establishing a foundation of experimental hip-hop, electronic, and ambient influences that would later inform the blacklist.wav sound. The evolution to blacklist.wav represents a conceptual shift toward more structured chaos—where glitched-out soundscapes meet intentional design, and where the raw energy of the underground is refined through technical precision. The name itself suggests both exclusion and inclusion: blacklisted from the people who supported him yet creating a new standard for himself and his digital-native music production. blacklist.wav continues to operate from Los Angeles, drawing inspiration from the city's sprawling digital culture and underground music scenes.
