Adeniran Oshunniyi

I am 1Daland, a Nigerian music producer, recording, mixing and mastering engineer, and the founder of 1Daland Studios, based in Lagos, Nigeria. My journey into music production began in 2016, inspired by the production style and sound of Metro Boomin. What started as an interest in beat-making gradually developed into a deeper passion for music production, sound engineering, and the complete creative process behind a record. Over the years, I have developed my skills in music production, vocal recording, mixing, and mastering. My approach is built around one central idea: a song should sound right from the moment it is created to the moment it reaches the listener. I don't see production, recording, mixing, and mastering as completely separate stages. I bring them together to help artists develop a complete sonic vision for their music. My goal is to create records that are clean, powerful, commercially competitive, and able to translate well across headphones, phones, speakers, and streaming platforms. Through 1Daland Studios, I work with independent artists and creatives, providing services including music production, recording, mixing, mastering, and jingle production. I have worked on projects with artists including Kakes, Thyman, Mark Elsin, and Hammeraw, contributing to production, engineering, and executive production across different releases. Beyond working with other artists, I am building my identity as a producer, audio engineer, and creative entrepreneur. My long-term ambition is to establish myself as one of the leading Afrobeats-focused producers and audio engineers coming out of Lagos and to work with artists both in Nigeria and internationally. For me, music is more than just making a beat or processing vocals. It is about bringing an artist's idea to life and making sure the final record sounds the way it was meant to sound.
