"Making music is my way of being in the world and doing activism social". Alea is a singer-songwriter, composer and vocal coach from Puglia graduated in Jazz Singing at the "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan. He has worked with Verdi Jazz Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Conservatories, but also in programs national TV with the orchestra "Terra of Otranto". He has worked as a singer of the Official Band of Casa Sanremo, during the Italian Song Festival opening the showcases of the competing artists. She was a writer for Sony Music in the 2019/20, alongside the authors Enrico Palmosi and Tony Maiello and ambassadors for Puglia at Womex (2014) in Santiago de Compostela with the first album Spleenless. In 2017 he made a European tour performing in London, Berlin, Barcelona and Brussels. With the support of Puglia Sounds Record releases second album Generation (2018) and in 2019/20 with the Alea & the Sit will bring the special to the stage concert "Generation Reloaded" in theaters with trumpeter Fabrizio Boxwood. On 15 December 2023 he published with the support of Novo Imaie his third album CUMMEI – MediterraNeoSoul. "It's just when everything seems to be collapsing on you that you can find the strength to start again and start A new journey. So CUMMEI-MediterraNeoSoul, It is a new start. “ The project is the story of an emigration, from the drive that leads to the decision, the difficulties of the journey until the arrival in the new land with homesickness. It is a journey of personal research to be able to define a self-awareness to discover what gives meaning to one's daily life, the raison d'être with its roots firmly in its own and the gaze towards the rest of the world. The artist's personal themes are addressed, but common to many, such as the nature of remaining in the native land for the strong link to it, and then seek complete realization elsewhere. While there is too much talk of extremism and racism, music and lyrics are a mixture of languages, a interpenetration of cultures and the stylistic union of acid jazz, Neo Soul and Urban, with small world embroideries. The following year he released the single "Nio Far" which closes the chapter of the concept album CUMMEI. Thanks to this path, the "Statti CUMMEI - TalKoncerto" project starts, a talk with live music in which Àlea interviews and tells stories of people who have decided to move from their homeland.
