ANASTASIA is a Roman singer-songwriter, with Russian and Abruzzo origins. Graduated in Philosophy and in Composition and Arrangement, she develops a musical project that intertwines the tradition of Italian songwriting with a contemporary sensibility, looking in particular at the sounds and imagery of the Sixties and Seventies. Among his musical references are Ornella Vanoni, Nada, Loredana Bertè, Gino Paoli and Bruno Martino, artists who have been able to combine expressive research, interpretative intensity and personality. From this legacy takes shape a personal writing, in which melancholy and irony coexist with desire, disenchantment and the contradictions of human relationships. His songs tell of absences, returns and ambiguous feelings through a cinematic imagery made up of vintage atmospheres, night scenes and everyday details that turn into small stories. The word occupies a central role, accompanied by a musical research that alternates essentiality and theatricality, intimacy and melodic impulses. His project moves between romanticism and disillusionment, fragility and character, recovering the spirit of Italian songwriting and reinterpreting it through a contemporary, ironic and deeply personal gaze.
