Anzwart

Gian Luca Belluzzo is an Italian musician and composer. After collaborations with several bands, in 2017 he started to experiment with music with his solo project ANZWART. His sound is a cultural melting pot which flows to an experimental electronic genre constantly evolving; the synthetic sounds fuse with his electric guitar. His performances are usually supported by visuals composed by himself. What arises is a rare sensorial dichotomy between the musical part, composed by contemporary and futuristic sounds, and the spontaneity of the images. The natural connection between his music and the visual arts ties Gian Luca to the Inge Morath exhibitions in Genova and Rome, for which he composes the soundtrack. He also performs in Treviso at ‘Casa dei Carraresi’ for the Elliott Erwitt “Dogs” exhibition and in Trentino Alto Adige at Castel Caldes for the finissage of ‘Vivere in Alto’ , a photographic exhibition of the Magnum Photos artists. The Ep cover is a piece of Paolo Battistutta, a young local painter. Gian Luca opens Nova Materia for Scenasonica and performed for Sexto ‘Nplugged 2020 opening Teho Teardo concert. Thanks to this last exhibition the independent label Black Stuff Records decided to produce his first EP and 300 limited edition vinyls. On 2022 he opens Ninos du Brazil concert and signs his first record deal with the italian label Isula Factory.
