Ar'Fly

Fabrizio Russo, aka Ar'Fly, is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Irpinia born in 2000. His pop meets Italian songwriting in a direct and personal style, characterized by a writing with a double interpretation, in which the intimate story becomes a metaphor for collective reflections and words are the protagonists. Trained between the Cimarosa Conservatory in Avellino, the laboratories of the Teatro San Carlo (Officine San Carlo) and the Federico II University, he integrates his studies and his sensitivity into a poetics that combines the intimate story with the urgencies of his generation, in a sort of "circular economy of the soul". Today's society tends to discard and ignore imperfect people or difficult feelings; His music, moving between cinematographic visions and theatrical structures, thus becomes a tool to transform personal fragility into a collective force that unites. From his grandfather Aniello (collaborator of Roberto De Simone) he inherited the love for the lyrics and popular roots that he blends with auteur pop, refining his sound research with Giuseppe Anastasi, Carlo Morelli and Giovanni Block. His career has obtained constant and prestigious awards from quality juries and institutional critics, consolidating his presence both in terms of writing and in live performances in the main national clubs and festivals.
