Borzellino (yes, with a Z: mistake at the registry office, now a trademark) is a Sicilian singer-songwriter badly distributed throughout the peninsula, together with his band Gli incubi della P.A. — more than a name, a shared experience. Her music lies somewhere between the Italian rock of the early 2000s and an acoustic guitar that has never stopped arpeggios in 3/4, while the drums try to keep up with her between accents and good intentions. In his songs he often talks about goodbyes, things that ended badly and loves that have done their own but that's it. All this, however, with an almost stubborn energy, as if the rhythm said "ok, bad... But let's move on". Borzellino is sweat, precision (when needed) and controlled chaos (when it can't be avoided), together with a band that shares the stage, sweat and probably some bureaucratic trauma. In life he is fussy about the things he loves, completely careless about the rest. It's not indie. Or at least, he doesn't use it as an excuse.
