Writing a song, for me, means giving shape to something that often already exists, but has not yet found the right way to come out. An emotion, a thought, a story that needs words and sounds to become real. It is with this idea that I move as an author and composer of melodies, combining text and music in a single creative process. My journey in music began at sixteen, in the oratory, when I began to write my first rap songs together with a friend. From there a duo was born and, above all, the awareness was born that writing does not just mean filling a space, but telling something that makes sense. Right from the start I felt the need to go beyond the surface, to avoid trivial lyrics and to build stories that could really reach the listener. The initial difficulty was precisely this: to find maturity in writing, to give depth to the words, to make them live. An important turning point came when I started writing with my cousin, as well as my producer. The confrontation between two heads has opened up new perspectives, allowing us to arrive at more interesting concepts, stronger images and less obvious joints. Writing together taught me how fundamental dialogue and listening are in the construction of a song. I have always been self-taught. I learned by listening to a lot of music, writing a lot and rewriting even more. Over time I realized that, for me, lyrics and melody cannot be separated: they are born together or they are not born at all. When I write, I work on the words, rhythm and melody at the same time, because I believe that a song only really works when these elements support each other. I move mainly between urban and pop, with introspective or love lyrics, always trying to create images capable of igniting in the imagination of the listener. This is the aspect that most represents me: the search for visual, emotional, recognizable writing. A song that works, for me, is the one that manages to reach the heart and mind in the first seconds. If the listener feels the need to listen to it again or finds himself humming it without realizing it, then he has already done his job. When I write for an artist, my top priority is to express what he or she wants to communicate. Understand the direction, the experience, the intention, and transform them into a song that really represents him.
