Gabriele Rivetti

I am a guitarist from Cuneo who has been passionate about music since I was a child and madly in love with my instrument. After studying for a year as a self-taught, I enrolled in a music school, first attending two years of electric guitar and then three of acoustic guitar under the guidance of maestro Luca Allievi, one of the best guitarists in Italy. After having built a solid base on rock accompaniment and solos (with great attention to improvisation), perfected the various techniques from the most basic to the most advanced, with the acoustic guitar I threw myself headlong into a dense and dense study of fingerstyle in all its facets, deepening at the same time the electric studies on blues, funky, reggae and rock. In 2023 I collaborated and had as a teacher the guitarist Alex Jacquemin, a French session musician and internationally known jazz-fusion musician who started giving me jazz lessons and advanced improvisation. After attending a four-month course at Berklee College of Music in Boston, I continued my jazz studies by attending a three-year degree in the conservatory, with an obsessive attention to improvisation and harmony, as well as composition and arrangement. Since 2023 I have been teaching classical, acoustic and electric guitar in a private school. I have had various group experiences as well as as a soloist in the most disparate genres, from metal to blues, from pop to instrumental, discovering from time to time new ways of exploiting the instrument (whether acoustic or electric) depending on the needs and the desired performance of the piece. I am currently a session guitarist in Daniele Tarantino's orchestra, a reference figure in the field of Italian dance music. I also play bass, drums, piano and various wind instruments. I am an extremely curious musician and eager to learn new genres and ways of expression to enrich my experience and to give a performance that is as varied as possible. I offer professionalism, punctuality and maximum transparency.
