Giovanni Sideri

I'm Giovanni Sideri, sound engineer, music producer and artistic director. My journey in the world of audio began at a very young age in the live sector, where I made a solid apprenticeship in the field: from the first technical experiences in jazz festivals and reviews – which led me to collaborate with artists such as Tullio De Piscopo and Serena Brancale – up to the management of realities such as the Abruzzo Symphony Orchestra and a tour of Benji and Fede. Later I broadened my horizons to cinema, specializing in both live recording and audio post-production. It was a stimulating path that led to the projects I worked on in important festivals, including the Trento Film Festival (selected for two editions) and the 82nd Venice International Film Festival (within the International Film Critics' Week). Today I combine cinematic audio with pure music, moving between pop productions and soundtracks. I follow the projects at 360 °, working both as a sound engineer and taking care of the musical and creative direction. In my new recording studio in Lanciano (CH) I have chosen not to set geographical limits: I work both in presence and remotely with artists from all over Italy. I firmly believe that the success of a project depends on the balance between solid professionalism and real human and artistic harmony, which for me always remains the priority at the center of every collaboration.
