JULIA COCO – My story, my music My name is Giulia Coco, aka JULIA COCO. I was born on July 21, 1997 in Sicily and I am an Italian artist with a strong passion for Latin music and culture. My bond with the Latin American world also stems from the experiences of my life. I lived in Mexico during my youth, I speak fluent Spanish and I became deeply interested in the sounds, rhythms and energy of Latin American music. This experience helped to shape my musical taste and my artistic identity. Dance has always been a fundamental part of my journey. I have about ten years of experience between Cuban salsa, afro and rumba and I have also worked as a choreographer and performer. Through dance I learned to experience music with my whole body, to convey emotions and to develop a strong stage presence. Today I want to bring all these experiences into my music. I recognize myself above all in the Latin Urban world, where I can explore reggaeton, dembow, bachata, trap and rap sounds, combining different influences to build a personal sound. I consider myself an artist who wants to express herself at 360 degrees: through voice, movement, image and energy on stage. For me, music is not just something to sing, but a way to tell who I am and convey emotions. My goal is to build an international musical path, collaborate with producers, authors and professionals in the sector and bring my music beyond the Italian borders, getting in touch with the world Latin Urban scene. I don't want to imitate anyone: I want to find my voice, develop a recognizable style and transform my personal experiences into an authentic musical identity. I'm JULIA COCO. My roots are Sicilian, my musical soul is Latin and my dream is to get my music to the world.
