Loosing Money is a young Italian band born in 2023 in the province, formed by Vladimir Caroli on guitar and vocals, Irene Ippoliti on bass and Mathias Plaisier on drums. Three different personalities and influences that meet between rock, punk and funky, giving life to an energetic, direct and constantly evolving sound. Contamination is the heart of the project: no labels to chase, but the freedom to experiment and transform differences into a common identity. They write in Italian and English, moving naturally between languages, genres and influences. Even the name Loosing Money is a statement: music before profit and materiality. An idea that is reflected in their way of creating, free from labels and homologation, where experimenting is the way to search for a common voice. Very young, they built their own path from the bottom, starting from the small stages of the province and making live their apprenticeship. In just three years they have exceeded 40 concerts, opening for Planet Funk and playing in contexts such as the International Biker Fest and San Basilio Waterfront Music Fest in Venice. The live shows are accompanied by the first awards: second place at the Miela Music Contest, victory at the Spililand Summer Festival and, in 2025, the selection among the 30 projects of the Controradio Rock Contest in Florence, an important milestone in the band's journey beyond the boundaries of its scene of origin. In 2025 they released the first single "Everything you want", followed in 2026 by "Distante". On July 3, 2026 comes "Just To Play", a debut EP of six tracks that cross genres, contrasts and influences without looking for a definition. A title that encapsulates their vision: playing with music to feel free to experiment, contaminate and go beyond conventions. From the province to new stages, keeping intact what it all started from: music first of all.
