Lorenzo Cioli

Lorenzo Cioli – musician, producer, publisher and record industry professional. Founder of Formica Dischi, an independent label based in Tuscany, born with the aim of enhancing authentic artists and projects, offering a human and competent approach to musical development. The label deals with production, publishing, artistic consultancy and promotion, accompanying musicians and authors at every stage of the journey: from writing to distribution, up to the construction of artistic and strategic identity. Active in the music world for over 25 years, I have worked in numerous areas of the industry: as a musician (session guitarist), as a producer and I have covered various roles within record productions (Personal Manager, Music Producer and Creative Team Builder) before founding my own label. This transversal experience has allowed me to get to know the language of production, the dynamics of the industry and the real needs of artists, thus managing to create effective connections between creativity and the market. My approach always starts from the sound and vision of the artist: I believe in the value of sound research, in the importance of identity and in the need to build concrete and sustainable paths, without shortcuts but with method and authenticity. Over the years I have collaborated with musicians, authors and professionals of different genres, always maintaining a balance between musical craftsmanship and industrial awareness. At the same time, I carry out training, consulting and development projects, aimed at spreading a more conscious and independent recording culture, able to give a voice to those who want to make music with seriousness and freedom. Today, through Formica Dischi and related realities, my goal is to create a solid network of artists, producers, technicians and professionals who share a genuine, innovative and long-term oriented approach. I believe in collaboration, direct confrontation and the ability to combine different experiences to build value over time
