I am a multifaceted musician, composer and teacher. I play the electric bass, the double bass and the violone, moving with ease between the classical repertoire, jazz, progressive rock and pop. The highlights of my artistic career: International and recording experience: With the progressive rock band Wishin' Cap I recorded an album in the United States (a project noticed by producer Sylvia Massy, already working with Tool and RHCP) followed by a tour on the East Coast. In Italy, we were selected and produced by Red Canzian (Pooh) and won festivals opening for artists such as Baustelle. Live and collaborations: I made my debut at the age of 16 alongside bluesman Fabio Treves. Today I lead my jazz/fusion formations and actively participate in transversal projects. Classical and orchestral activity: I have a solid and continuous experience in chamber, symphonic and operatic ensembles as a double bass in a row. Training and Teaching I studied Double Bass at the "B. Maderna" Conservatory in Cesena and Composition at the "G.B. Martini" Conservatory in Bologna. Since 2012 I have been combining my intense concert activity with a strong teaching commitment, teaching electric bass, double bass, harmony and composition in local music schools.
