SÈMIÈL

Samuele Matta, aka SÈMIÈL, is a Tuscan singer-songwriter born in San Miniato (PI) in 1992. He studied guitar at the Music Academy of Montopoli In Val d'Arno (PI) and later was a pupil of Nacher Luis in Empoli (FI). He began writing at the age of 16 and in 2009 he began to tread stages throughout Italy as a guitarist for various bands of the underground punk scene, signing with the Empoli label 21 Records for the production of an EP at Nicolò Gasparini's Music City Studio in Montebelluno (TV) which, however, was never released. In 2010 he recorded the 7" split for Pisciosangue together with Into The Baobab, produced at the Vecchio Son in Bologna which was released for All'Arrembaggio Dischi. In the same year he founded 30 Miles and in November 2010 he self-published Wasteland Ep, produced by Tai Fronzaroli, whose single "Nobody" will be released by Indiebox Music / Venus Distribution as part of the Indiebox Compilation Vol.6 - The Punk Network (along with artists such as Yellowcard, The Causalties, Anti-Flag, Andead and many others). In 2011 he began working on P12 by 30 Miles, an EP produced by Tai Fronzaroli that will be distributed only at concerts. In 2012 they were called for their first international tour in collaboration with Zero Talent Booking, which saw them on stages in Italy, Germany, Holland, England, Wales, Scotland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Croatia. In the autumn of the same year he signed with This Is Core / Believe for the release of his debut album, "The Smiles Of Rage & Paranoia", produced by Tai Fronzaroli, which will be released digitally and on CD on December 21st. In January 2013 he signed with Bells On Records / CR Japan for the re-release of the debut in Japan which in the following years will become sold-out. In 2013 and 2014 he focused on concert activity throughout Italy, managing to touch a hundred shows in two years, also participating in the Genoa International Music Fair. In 2015 he participated in the Guinness World Record for the biggest band in the world with Rockin' 1000 and signed with Alfredo Cappello's Ammonia Records which reissued the debut album sold-out also in Europe. He began a tour that saw him once again on the stages of Italy in support of Shandon, Atlas Losing Grip, Upon This Dawning and many others. In 2017 he returned to the studio with 30 Miles for the creation of the second album "Short Tales For Braves", produced by Alessandro Gavazzi at the Hell Smell Studio in Rome, but mixed and mastered in Empoli by Ghost Factory Records & Arts which acquired the project and on September 27, 2018. In 2020 he began writing the first work in Italian produced by Andrea Pachetti at the 360 Music Factory in Livorno in 2021 and worked for over two years of which the first two singles were originally released for Molto Forte/ADA Music Italy and later acquired by The Saifam Group confirming WMG for the distribution of the debut album SUPERFUXIA
