Channelling anger and grit into a sound that blends the best of progressive rock and progressive metal, whAte is a one-man-band from the UK that blends the versatility of bands like Muse with the punchy energy of bands like Green Day, weaving classic elements and a rebellious punk attitude into a sound that strikes like a real statement. whAte's lyrics are a cry for urgent change, fueled by the injustices of this world and driven by the need to cry out the transformations required both by society and by the interiority of the individual. Shaping a style defined by the neologism of progressive punk, the sound is fueled by a rebellious energy and honed by the variety of different musical abilities. Founded in Italy by the creative mind Dave Dreamer (singer, guitarist, composer and violinist), the group blends revolutionary spirit with the refinement of genres such as blues and prog rock, adding sparks of classical music along the way. Following the debut single "Can't Breathe Anymore" (2022) and "Brainman" (2023), both released independently, whAte signed with Rexius Records (2023) and has since released five singles with the label. In 2026 the first EP of 6 songs was released, entitled "Tonight I will tell you a story", which includes punk pieces, melodic solos, orchestral parts and a folk-rock song about the mafia.
