My name is Altair, I am an author, producer, arranger, composer and sound engineer from the province of Turin. I have been working for years in the production of various musical genres. A lifelong avid listener, I've been writing and composing since 2006, the year I founded my first pop punk/nu metal band, and I started producing in my studio in 2012. I am particularly in demand for writing on commission (lyrics and music) and arranging pop, R&B, pop punk, soul, country, urban and Latin songs. The songs I write, written to measure by the singers, I sell them free from editorial constraints. I work with Logic Pro and I offer services of music composition, lyrics writing in Italian and English, topline, arrangement and production with mixing and mastering, of all musical genres, with a particular propensity for the pop and radio friendly aspect of music (even if I have a past in hc punk and the "street" spirit has never abandoned me :D).

Writing a song, for me, means giving shape to something that often already exists, but has not yet found the right way to come out. An emotion, a thought, a story that needs words and sounds to become real. It is with this idea that I move as an author and composer of melodies, combining text and music in a single creative process. My journey in music began at sixteen, in the oratory, when I began to write my first rap songs together with a friend. From there a duo was born and, above all, the awareness was born that writing does not just mean filling a space, but telling something that makes sense. Right from the start I felt the need to go beyond the surface, to avoid trivial lyrics and to build stories that could really reach the listener. The initial difficulty was precisely this: to find maturity in writing, to give depth to the words, to make them live. An important turning point came when I started writing with my cousin, as well as my producer. The confrontation between two heads has opened up new perspectives, allowing us to arrive at more interesting concepts, stronger images and less obvious joints. Writing together taught me how fundamental dialogue and listening are in the construction of a song. I have always been self-taught. I learned by listening to a lot of music, writing a lot and rewriting even more. Over time I realized that, for me, lyrics and melody cannot be separated: they are born together or they are not born at all. When I write, I work on the words, rhythm and melody at the same time, because I believe that a song only really works when these elements support each other. I move mainly between urban and pop, with introspective or love lyrics, always trying to create images capable of igniting in the imagination of the listener. This is the aspect that most represents me: the search for visual, emotional, recognizable writing. A song that works, for me, is the one that manages to reach the heart and mind in the first seconds. If the listener feels the need to listen to it again or finds himself humming it without realizing it, then he has already done his job. When I write for an artist, my top priority is to express what he or she wants to communicate. Understand the direction, the experience, the intention, and transform them into a song that really represents him. Ita/Eng Sono un produttore musicale con una forte specializzazione in mixing e mastering, due ambiti in cui ho sviluppato negli anni un approccio personale e tecnico, curando ogni dettaglio sonoro per portare ogni brano alla sua massima espressione. Ho iniziato il mio percorso negli studi della Bliss Corporation, dove ho mosso i primi passi come produttore dance. Dopo questa breve ma formativa esperienza, ho intrapreso un percorso indipendente, dedicandomi alla produzione e affinando costantemente le mie competenze tecniche, con particolare attenzione alla fase finale della catena audio: il mix e il master. I miei “guru” del mastering sono Ted Jensen (Sterling Sound) e Mike Kalajian, dei quali apprezzo qualità, estrema potenza e cura del suono soprattutto nelle frequenze basse. Nel corso degli anni ho avuto modo di collaborare con diversi artisti e realtà musicali, tra cui Vicio dei Subsonica, esperienza che ha arricchito ulteriormente la mia visione musicale e il mio metodo di lavoro.
